The French Club has volunteered more than 700 hours to the Blytheville Community so far in the 2015-2016 school year! They helped with Main Street Blytheville's Chili Cook-Off event, The Arts Council of Mississippi County's "Haunted Theatre" fundraiser, and ACT 2! Community Theatre's annual sponsorship drive. French Club members also adopted 22 "Angels" from Blytheville Primary School's Angel Tree Program which anonymously provides needy children with Christmas gifts and everyday necessities, as well as cleaned and decorated (and un-decorated) The Ritz Civic Center for their holiday season events. Most recently, we collected nearly $800 in just one week! This money was donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Societyin an effort to fight childhood blood cancers! Each French Club member is only required to contribute 4 hours of community service each year, but most enjoy it so much that they contribute two, three, or even four or more times that many hours!

French Art Projects on Public Display!
French and Spanish students from BHS were invited by The Arts Council of Mississippi County to be the featured "Artist of the Month" in March 2016 for the Ritz Civic Center in Downtown Blytheville! All of the artwork on display came from various projects that the students completed throughout the year. What a talented group!
