Ste. Geneviève, MO
On May 2, 2014, thirty students were granted the opportunity to travel 3 hours north of Blytheville to visit the oldest French settlement this side of the Mississippi River...beautiful Ste. Geneviève, Missouri!
Students toured the Felix Vallé State Historic Site (1818), the Jacques Guibourd Historic House (1806), the Bolduc House Museum (1792), the Ste. Geneviève Memorial Cemetery, the Ste. Geneviève Museum, the Catholic Church of Ste. Geneviève. Many students even got to sample homemade candy, flavored honey, other treats!
